About the eGolf Professional Tour
Dear Golf Professional:
We at the eGolf Professional Tour would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your past 10 years of support that have allowed us to become the tour we are presenting to you today. The 2012 season will prove to be our best to date, as we continue to provide the best developmental tour in North America.
Some highlights of the 2012 season include:
· Tour will pay for 2012 PGA TOUR Q-School for the top 20 members on the season-ending money list. Entry fee will be reimbursed directly to the player after Q-School entry is paid. To be eligible for the Q-School bonus, members must play in a minimum of 12 eGolf Tour events. Any member participating in a PGA or Nationwide Tour event, opposite an eGolf Tour event, will have that start count towards the 12.
· Fourteen (14) 72-hole tournaments with a full field purse of of $235,000. Click here for sample purse.
· Ten (10) 54-hole tournaments.
· Entry Fees: 72-hole events: $1,150 (m) / $1,390 (nm). 54-hole events: $750 (m) / $900 (nm)
· Membership fee of only $1,800 for all players joining before December 1, 2011.
· Tour will again offer a minimum of four Nationwide Tour exemptions in 2012.
· No mandatory prepay or ranking schools. Members will be given priority entry each week, but non-members may sign up at any time as well.
· Play without doubt the best courses in the developmental tour industry: Pine Needles Resort, Forest Oaks Country Club, Oldfield Country Club, Chechessee Creek Club, Spring Creek Golf Club, The Club at Irish Creek, Rock Barn Club & Spa and The Reserve Club at St. James, to name a few.
At our core, we will remain a tour committed to the player as all of our events will be contested within a four-hour drive of Charlotte, NC, with 10 events in the greater Charlotte area. This in turn allows players to save money on travel and enables them to fly in and out of Charlotte's Douglas International Airport directly to most Monday qualifiers for PGA and Nationwide Tour events.
We feel that Charlotte is an ideal location to base a tour of this stature out of as "The Queen City" is no stranger to professional golf. The success of the PGA TOUR’s Wells Fargo Championship comes after many years of successful Champions Tour and LPGA Tour events were held here. There are 85 golf courses within 45 minutes of uptown Charlotte, making this a perfect environment for seasoned and aspiring professionals.
The owners and staff of the eGolf Professional Tour have played professional golf for a combined 21 years and are well aware of the shortcomings that most tours fail to address. We vow to always view the industry and each event through the eyes of the players, thus creating the best tour possible for each and every one of you to ascend to the PGA TOUR.
We hope that you will join us in making our 11th season a success and a lucrative one for yourself.
Sincerely,
The eGolf Professional Tour Staff
