ATTENTION PLAYERS: Secondary Course Change for Grand Harbor Open

By Stewart Moore

Charlotte, N.C.May 20, 2010 – The secondary course for the Grand Harbor Open on May 26-29 has been changed from The Links at Stoney Point to The Golf Club at Star Fort in Ninety-Six, SC. All players signed up for the event should make note of this change.

Tour officials deemed that the amount of construction projects, along with the current state of the putting surfaces, at Stoney Point were not up to eGolf Tour standards; therefore, a change in venue was deemed mandatory.

The Golf Club at Star Fort is a 1969 George Cobb design located just 10 minutes from tournament host The Patriot Golf Club, and just 15 minutes from the host hotel. Players wishing to book practice round tee times at Star Fort may do so by visiting the tournament information page and calling the pro shop.

The tour would like to thank Stoney Point for their cooperation in this matter, as well as Star Fort for their willingness to host our players on such short notice.
