Venue Change: Musgrove Mill Classic

.
The host venue for the eGolf Tour's Musgrove Mill Classic on September 12-14, 2012 has been changed. Due to constant heat and moisture during the months of July and August - which affected 2-3 of the bent grass putting surfaces of the famed Arnold Palmer-designed Musgrove Mill Golf Club, and put the course one week away from being tournament ready - the host venue has been changed to The Golf Club at Star Fort in Ninety-Six, SC - approximately 30 minutes southeast of Musgrove Mill.
The Golf Club at Star Fort has served as co-host of the tour's Grand Harbor Open for the past three years. Star Fort is a 1969 George Cobb design located in the heart of historic Ninety-Six, SC. The course sits in a classic parkland setting and presents itself as a straightforward venue that requires players to maneuver the ball in both directions and use precise iron play, as the fast Bermuda greens require a number of birdie tries to come from below the hole. South Carolina pines and a thick strand of rough line each hole and allow for Star Fort to provide a stern test for all eGolf Tour players.
Spots are still available for the newly-named Championship at Star Fort. To sign up for next week's event, or any event in the eGolf Tour's fall series, please click here.
The Musgrove Mill Classic will be rescheduled for the 2013 season.
