Humble, TXApril 6, 2010 Former eGolf Tour player Jason Bohn carded rounds of 70-72-71-68—281 to set the pace at the PGA TOUR's Shell Houston Open with a T11 finish – his second top-15 effort of the 2010 season.

Bohn, who battled injuries for the better part of 2006-2008, has been making up for time lost over the last year with steady play and a host of top-25 finishes. Finally healthy at the start of 2009, Bohn made the most of his opportunities last year with seven top-25 finishes in 25 starts, and already has three thus far through seven events in 2010.

Coming into the Shell Houston Open, the unassuming Alabama native had T35 and T20 finishes in his two prior starts at The Honda Classic and the Transitions Championship, respectively. With scoring difficult on a Redstone Golf Club course set up to mimic conditions found at this week's Masters Tournament, Bohn bounced up and down on his 72-hole scorecard with birdies galore and too many bogeys to contend. Bohn was able to post 20 birdies in four rounds of golf and collected $133,400 for his efforts.

The T11 result moved Bohn up to No. 63 on the FedExCup points list and No. 69 on the 2010 PGA TOUR money list.

Finishing in an eight-way tie for 14th were former eGolf Tour players Blake Adams and Steve Marino.

Adams, playing in his first full season on the PGA TOUR, made the cut by just one shot after opening with rounds of 73-72. On the weekend, his putter would heat up and allow for rounds of 68-69 to move up roughly 40 spots in the standings. Adams was one of only three players in the entire field (Charl Schwartzel and J.J. Henry being the others) to card both weekend rounds in the 60s at the arduous Redstone Golf Club "Tournament Course."

Adams actually birdied six of his first 13 holes in the final round to move to 8-under for the tournament before suffering a double-bogey at the difficult par-4 17th to drop two shots to the field.

For Marino, a T14 at the Shell Houston Open was more of the same consistency from a player quickly gaining a reputation for being one of the best week-in and week-out contenders on TOUR. The finish was his fourth top-15 effort in eight starts this year and moved him up to No. 35 on the FedExCup points list.

With rounds of 70-71-71-70—282 just outside of downtown Houston, Marino was one of only five players in the field to card all four rounds under par.

Other former eGolf Tour players to make the cut in Humble include Brendon de Jonge (T35), David Lutterus (T40), Matt Bettencourt (MDF) and Derek Lamely (MDF). For complete results from the Shell Houston Open on pgatour.com, please click here.
