Ontario, CanadaJuly 11, 2010 – Former eGolf Tour players Keegan Bradley and Kevin Chappell collected runner-up and third-place finishes, respectively, last weekend at the Nationwide Tour's Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic presented by Samsung at The Georgian Bay Club in Clarksburg, Ontario.

Chappell, currently No. 2 on the tour's money list, entered the final round with a five-shot lead over Bradley following rounds of 61-63-68—192. After both players traded shots for much of the front nine, the two players would take a backseat to eventual tournament winner Peter Tomasulo, who posted a closing nine of 7-under 29 en route to a final-round 61 and his first Nationwide Tour title.

Bradley, a former St. John's University golfer, posted a five-birdie 31 over his final nine holes to finish at 23-under 262 for the event – one shot shy of Tomasulo. The finish was the best of Bradley's Nationwide Tour career and came just two weeks after a T30 finish at the Mexico Open Bicentenary ended a streak of five missed cuts. With the finish, and the $86,410 runner-up check, Bradley moved from No. 95 to No. 17 on the tour's money list. At the conclusion of the 2010 season, the top 25 players on the Nationwide Tour money list will earn their 2011 PGA TOUR cards.

For Chappell, the solo third finish was his sixth top-10 of the 2010 season and his third top-3 effort, following a win at the Fresh Express Classic in April and a runner-up finish at the BMW Charity Pro-Am in May. The former NCAA Champion moved up to No. 2 on the tour's money list after his finish, moving past fellow eGolf Tour alum Jamie Lovemark in the process.

eGolf Tour player Darron Stiles finished in T7 thanks in part to a final-round 64 that allowed him to move up 18 spots on the final-round leaderboard. His round of 64 was bettered only by Tomasulo's 61 in the final round.

Other eGolf Tour players to make the cut in Canada include Kyle Thompson (T10), Daniel Summerhays (T10), Scott Brown (T17), Travis Bertoni (T17), Fabian Gomez (T21), Jin Park (T21), Tommy Gainey (T21), Justin Hicks (T21), Chris Kirk (T27), Scott Stallings (T27), David Morland IV (T36), Aaron Goldberg (T36), Matt Hill (T36), Ted Brown (T42), Trevor Murphy (T47), Scott Sterling (T56), Matt Davidson (T56) and Daniel Barbetti (61). • At the PGA TOUR's John Deere Classic, Brendon de Jonge led all former eGolf Tour players with rounds of 67-65-68-69—269 en route to a T7 finish – his fifth top-10 in 22 starts this year. The Charlotte, NC resident has now made six consecutive cuts on tour – a streak in which he has posted two top-10s and held a share of the 18-hole lead at the U.S. Open. The Zimbabwean is currently 34th in FedExCup points and 41st on the TOUR's money list. Former players Jason Bohn and James Nitties rounded out the tour's representation inside the top 25 with matching T21 finishes. For Bohn, the good play in Silvis, IL marked his seventh top-25 of the 2010 season. In April, Bohn picked up his second career TOUR title at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. After making only two cuts in his first 12 starts, Nitties seems to have settled in to some more consistent play in his second year on the PGA TOUR. The Australian has made six of his last eight cuts and has moved up to No. 125 on the FedExCup points list. Other players to make the cut at the John Deere Classic include Matt Bettencourt (T49), Matt Every (T56) and John Mallinger (T62). For complete results from the John Deere Classic, please click here.
