Charlotte, NC – December 4, 2010 – eGolf Tour member Ben Martin continued his stellar pace at PGA TOUR Q-School finals on Saturday with a fourth-round 69 to maintain his lead with two rounds to play in the grueling 108-hole finale.

The final stage of the PGA TOUR’s annual Qualifying Tournament is taking place this week outside of Orlando at Orange County National Golf Club, with 162 players competing on the Panther Lake and Crooked Cat courses in hopes of securing one of 25 PGA TOUR cards for the 2011 season. Of the 162 players in the field, 59 are current or former eGolf Professional Tour players.

Martin used six birdies against three bogeys in round four en route to his 3-under 69, which would give him a 72-hole total of 16-under 270 and a one-shot lead over PGA TOUR veteran James Driscoll.

With two rounds to play, there are currently nine eGolf Tour players inside the magic top-25 number. Among those is past tour winner and longtime member William McGirt of Boiling Springs, SC.

McGirt, who spent all of 2010 on the Nationwide Tour and finished No. 34 on the money list, carded a seven-birdie round of 66 on the Crooked Cat course to move from a tie for 27^th up into a tie for eighth. A past champion on the eGolf Tour, McGirt made 17 of 24 cuts on the 2010 Nationwide Tour and collected an impressive eight top-25 finishes along the way.
