Second-Round Play at Mid Pines Suspended Due to Inclement Weather

Southern Pines, N.C. – Second-round play in the eGolf Gateway Tour’s Mid Pines Classic was suspended due to inclement weather at 1:40 PM on Thursday afternoon, with 39 players yet to complete their rounds. Round two play is set to resume at 10:00 AM on Friday morning.

First-round leader Drew Weaver of High Point, N.C. was greenside on the par-4 seventh (his 16th) when play was called for the day. The four-time tour winner, who opened the event with a 5-under 66 on Wednesday, was even par for the second round.

Longtime Web.com Tour member Scott Harrington of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Brendan Kelly of Annapolis, Md. are the current clubhouse leaders with 36-hole totals of 4-under 138.

Players should be in the cart staging area, ready to return to their holes at 9:45 AM.

The tournament is open to the public and free of charge.
