Kevin Foley certainly knows the importance of a Monday qualifier.
Foley, a mini-tour player who turned 25 on Thursday, qualified for the Nationwide Tour's South Georgia Classic Presented by First State Bank and Trust Company in late April in Valdosta, Ga. He then backed up his spot in the tournament with a tie for seventh place.
Foley didn't stop there. At the next Nationwide event, he tied for seventh again at the Stadion Classic at the University of Georgia.
Now he's on the verge of playing on the Nationwide Tour on a regular basis.
"Yeah, Georgia was pretty good to me," said Foley, a three-time All-American at Penn State who was staying competitive earlier this season by playing on the eGolf Tour.
In fact, Foley won on the eGolf Tour and is the tour's leading money winner.
